Reciprocity

Under ยง 18.2-308.014, a valid permit from any other state lets you carry concealed in Virginia if you: are at least 21; carry a valid government photo ID; show the permit and ID on demand by law enforcement; and have never had a Virginia permit revoked (VSP Reciprocity and Recognition). Virginia recognizes all states, but other states may not honor a Virginia permit; check each state you will visit before travel.
